Samer Karam is a rainmaker based out of Beirut, Lebanon. He is most notably known for creating and organizing the Mediterranean & MENA’s biggest conference, BDLAccelerate.com, which has been headlined by Steve Wozniak (Co-Founder of Apple) and Tony Fadell (Father of the iPod and Founder of Nest). He also founded Seeqnce, one of the Mediterranean & MENA’s 1st accelerators, in 2010. Samer regularly advises the Central Bank of Lebanon on best practices in venture capital, and was a member of the steering committee of Lebanon’s 600 million US$ Startup Fund (BDL Circular 331). In his free time, Samer enjoys public speaking at conferences, seminars, workshops, and roundtables around the world, with a track record of over 50 engagements in 30 countries.
